 General Rules

1) Everyone in the Snowplay area must have a visible ticket at all times.
2) Sledders under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the Snowplay area.
3) Only use sleds provided by Tahoe Donner Association.
4) Proceed down the sledding hill sitting in a "feet first" manner. Sledding headfirst is not allowed.
5) Sled to the bottom of the hill and move quickly to either of the walkways at the side before walking back up to the top. Do not stand at the bottom of the hill waiting for other sledders.
6) Walking up the middle of the sledding hill is not allowed. Please use the side walkways.
7) Do not stop or start from the middle of the sledding hill.
8) Reckless behavior including standing on sleds, making "human chains," or crashing into netting is prohibited.
9) Sledding is only allowed within the designated area.
10) If you are sledding and crash into another person who is walking or standing you will lose your sledding privileges and be asked to leave the sledding area. You must be in control at all times.
11) The Snowplay area is for families. No smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed. Intoxicated individuals will be asked to leave.
12) No dogs allowed in the Snowplay area.
13) Management reserves the right to refuse admittance, or to eject from the premises, any persons failing to comply with facility rules.

Tubing Rules
1) All tube riders must be at least 36 inches tall.
2) Only one rider per tube.
3) Follow the instructions from the Tahoe Donner Snowplay attendant. When you start, place the tube leash and ring inside the tube. Sit in the tube with your legs out in front of your tube. Secure all loose items such as hats. Raise your backside up slightly off of the bottom of the tube. Hold onto the handles. Await orders by the starter/attendant. If the starter allows two or more tubes to go down together, you must hang onto each other's tube all the way to the bottom. If conditions on a given day are too fast, you will not be allowed to go down together. Please tell the attendant if this is the first time you have ever snow tubed on this hill or if you are unsure of any instructions.
4) Descend the tube lane only when advised that it is safe to do so. Do not descend until your lane is clear.
5) Upon reaching the bottom immediately exit your tube and move quickly to a designated walkway.
6) Do not ride tubes on the walkways. Do not pull passengers in the tubes on walkways.
7) If there are more snow tubers than there are tubes, you may have to pass your tube along to the next person when you get to the top of the hill. You must get in line to receive another tube. Please be courteous and patient so all may have a good time.
8) Please refrain from wearing any earrings or any other jewelry while tubing.
9) Ski boots are not allowed.
10) Helmets are encouraged. Helmets are available for rental at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area Rental Shop for an additional cost.
11) Snow tubes cannot be removed from the Tahoe Donner Snowplay Area.
12) Only Tahoe Donner Snowplay tubes can be used.
13) Tubing is only allowed when Tahoe Donner Snowplay staff is present.
14) Tubing operations may be stopped at any time due to weather and safety concerns.
15) Burn rubber and have fun.
