WINTER ADVENTURES

Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort
Open Daily | 9AM – 4pm

Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort is now open! Snowbird Triple Chair and Caterpillar Conveyor are running, and we hope to open more terrain soon as conditions allow. Plan your trip by purchasing lift tickets, lessons and rentals in advance for best pricing.

For the 2024/2025 winter season, Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort will operate out of temporary facilities, offering ticketing, rentals, and restrooms. Limited food and beverage service will be available, and there will be no indoor dining. We will provide half-day kids’ lessons, along with our normal private and group lessons, and ski and snowboard school programs. Plan your trip by purchasing trail passes, lessons and rentals online in advance for the best pricing. Season passholders enjoy additional benefits, including dining and retail discounts, free ski days at partner resorts, access to season-long rentals and lockers and more all winter long!

New Year’s Eve Guided Snowshoe Tour at Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center
Tues, Dec. 31 | 5:30-7:30PM
Spend New Year’s Eve under the stars with a guided snowshoe tour at the Cross Country Ski Center. Groups depart from the Alder Creek Adventure Center; equipment is available for ages 13+. Space is limited. Reservations open in mid-November.

Ski Fit Class at Trout Creek Recreation Center

Get ready for winter adventures with this dynamic class designed to boost your strength, endurance and balance for skiing. Focus on lower body, core and agility exercises to prepare you for those Sierra powder days and keep you injury-free on the slopes!

Every Friday in December | 6PM at Northwoods Clubhouse
On Friday evenings, eat, drink and be merry with free and family-friendly holiday movies! There will be free coloring books for your little elves, plus a special surprise for those who show up early! Popcorn is provided; all movies are rated G, PG or PG-13. Don’t forget to stop by Pizza on the Hill for pizza specials all month long!

Rock n’ Roll New Year’s Eve Party at Alder Creek Adventure Center

Ring in the new year with live music at Alder Creek Adventure Center’s all-ages, family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration! Enjoy a festive menu, a great selection of beer and wine, and s’mores kits for the kids. The Times Square countdown will be streamed live on the big screen, with the big countdown taking place at 9PM (midnight EST).
